How to Prepare for Your Newborn Session

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable in-studio newborn photoshoot, we have a few important details to share. Our studio is fully equipped with a wide range of props and clothing items designed specifically for newborn photography, so you will not need to bring any outfits for your baby. However, if you have a special outfit or accessory that holds sentimental value or that you would particularly like your newborn to wear during the session, please feel free to bring it along!

When preparing for your session, please keep in mind that these shoots typically take between 2 to 4 hours. This allows us to capture a variety of poses and setups while ensuring your baby's comfort. Here are some tips on how to plan for your time in the studio:

• Feeding Schedule: Before your session, try to plan to feed your baby right before you arrive. A well-fed baby is usually more relaxed and willing to sleep during the shoot.
• Diaper Changes: Bring along extra diapers and wipes just in case. We will take breaks as needed for diaper changes and comfort, but having extra supplies on hand will make this easier.
• Comfort Items: If your baby has a favorite blanket, toy, or pacifier, consider bringing those along. These items can help soothe your little one if they become fussy.
• Comfort for You: Since the session can take a few hours, wear comfortable clothing and shoes. You may be sitting or standing for long periods of time.
• Snacks and Drinks: Although we’re focused on capturing beautiful moments, it’s a good idea for parents to bring some snacks and beverages to stay comfortable throughout the session.
• Time Management: Make sure to leave yourself ample time to get to the studio, as traffic or unexpected delays can sometimes occur. Arriving on time will help us start the session smoothly.
